Lake Norman Motor Coach Resort has been developed for those seeking the
latest and most modern facilities. The resort was designed so that a majority
of RV sites (32 of 58, in fact) have an unobstructed panoramic view of Lake Norman. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the Resort.
Privacy and security were both major considerations in the design of this
resort. Over 1850 shrubs and trees have been planted around the resort and the
resort perimeter is lined with over 1500 feet of wrought iron fencing. Security
cameras are placed throughout the resort. You will be issued a Site Key, which
is a magnetic card similar to a hotel key. The Site Key will be used for all
activity at the resort including, entry/exit gates, identification while on
premises, and for making on-site purchases. All transactions will be made via
credit card (no cash) and the site key will be returned at the end of your
stay.
For a safe transition from Highway 150, the entrance to the resort has two
entry lanes leading to the gate house that is located 100 feet from the
highway. You are greeted at the gatehouse where your party's reservations are
confirmed. You will be provided with a welcome package which includes the
layout of the resort, trash bags and the Site Key.
You travel through the wrought iron security gate on your way to your site,
and a valet will be present to guide you to your site and to assist in parking
and setup of your motor coach. All the roads within the resort are 18 feet wide
and are paved. All sites have concrete pads, picnic tables, power towers, free
WIFI Internet access, and each site has generous landscaping. Each power tower
offers 30/50 amp service, water connections, and is equipped with a night light
for your convenience after dark. Resort staff will also be available to pick up
guest's trash each morning at their RV site. Staff will be available to assist
you with information or to help make reservations for any of the areas many attractions.
Our office is also equipped with Fax and Copy services.
The Bath House facilities are ultra clean and eloquently finished with
granite counter tops, tile floors and walls, and auto flush fixtures. Private
shower suites are also provided for those seeking that added privacy. The
Laundry facility is equipped with new washer and dryers.
A deck is provided for guests that want to socialize while enjoying the
views of beautiful Lake
Norman. The on-site
lakeside store will offer guests snack items, ice cream, ice, fishing equipment
and many other items you may have accidentally left at home. There is a
playground for children and a fenced-in pet park where your animals can roam.
The resort has four piers, a boat ramp, and dock slips available to you to rent
if you bring your own boat. No boat? No problem. This resort is pleased to offer Pontoon Boat
rentals and a onsite staff is available to help you with any of your boating
needs. Whether its helping to launch or recommending the best places to go
fishing, the staff is there for your every need.
