Marathon Introduces Triple Slide-Out Prevost XLII

COBURG, Ore., September 3, 2008 -- Marathon Coach, Inc., the world's largest bus converter,  is pleased to announce that it has completed coach #1160, its first triple slide-out luxury conversion of a Prevost XLII.

     The new triple slide-out XLII offers premium luxury and increased space.  The addition of a second front slide-out adds approximately 35% more salon space -- perfect for entertaining or everyday living.

     The development of triple - and quad-slide XLII's was a multi year cooperative project between Marathon and Valid Manufacturing, the company's Canadian - based slide-out provider.  In addition to the completion of coach #1160, Marathon has numerous triple and quad slide-out XLII's currently in production.

     "The Prevost Le Mirage has a long history in the industry, and there are many customers that are big fans of the classic, stainless steel look of the XLII."  said Marathon President Steve Schoellhorn.  "Marathon is excited to now offer the option of a third or fourth slide.  It's amazing how much extra living space the additional slide-outs provide."

     With the added space of three slide-outs, coach #1160 is an "M" series edition show coach that offers all of the amenities of a warm and spacious residential home: dramatic custom-designed salon valances featuring cut metal pieces with a custom faux paint finish that cross in the center to create a classic fleur-de-lis pattern and two mocha-colored sofas juxtaposed against warm tones in the maple-colored wood plank floor and laminate walls.  In the bath areas, polished brass faucetry and decorative glass sinks illuminated from beneath accentuate the stunning granite tile backsplash trimmed with a sparking glass tile border.
